On August 30, Xinyang Holdings won the bidding for a 100,000-square-meter land plot in Shishan Town of Nanhai, Foshan. Reserved for the first phase of the project, the land plot is located on the south side of Taoyuan Road and west of Xingye Road.

The investment project broke records in Nanhai, as it marks the first leading manufacturing project of sensory unit & sensor manufacturing in Shishan, as well as the first project to be funded by over 10 billion in Nanhai this year. As planned, the Xinyang Holdings project in Shishan, backed up by a total investment of 10 billion yuan, will be divided into two phases. It is expected to produce 50 million imaging modules per month and go public in the near future.

With a registered capital of US$80 million, Xinyang Holdings is a private high-tech enterprise, boasting a strong portfolio of camera module R&D, manufacturing and sales. To this date, the company has owned 900 design patents and offers a wide range of products and services - mobile phones, laptops, wearable devices, sports cameras, on-board devices, smart home appliances, games, AR/VR and etc. Additionally, Xinyang Holdings has also built downstream partnership with tech giants such as Apple, Huawei, Honor, Lenovo, HP etc.

"We've thought of many possible locations for our project, and finally we made up our mind to settle in Shishan." said by the project manager. As one of the key nodes in Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area (GBA), Shishan Town has a lot to offer in its own right - a well-constructed intercity rail system and a strong industrial foundation.

Effective governance gave a strong boost to this project. Reportedly, from investment discussion, land acquisition, sorting to bidding, the whole process only took about three months. In the future, Xinyang plans to develop a potential market in areas closely related to smart home appliances, family cars, and smart government.
