Yesterday (April 12), 180,000 square meters of land in Shunde New City was sold at auction. The land is planned to build a “Land Park” operated in open style and the largest island-theme “Water Park” in South China. It will be exploited along with 350,000 square meters of Joy Coast to build “Joy Coast PLUS”, the largest urban cultural tourism complex in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area.
“Land Park” operated in open style
The planned “Land Park” will be freely open to all visitors. In terms of recreation projects, there will be a huge sky wheel as tall as 96 meters (about 35 floors high) and a romantic rose square in the first phase of the park, making a new landmark in Shunde and even in Guangfo area.
Meanwhile, the project will select 11 top-notch recreation facilities popular among young people and build a “children’s forest” entertainment zone loved by families. More surprisingly, “Land Park” will hold exotic parades, open-air markets, street shows, lawn music festivals, light shows, new year firework count down and other activities all year round.
Largest island-theme “Water Park” in South China
It includes 20 Asian advanced water recreation facilities and imported water slides. The park will invest large sum of money to build the largest super water stockade, ultra-large wave pool, super-long water roller coaster and pink beach spa in South China.
“Joy Coast PLUS”
The “Joy Coast PLUS” will build a landscape layout of “a river, two banks and a lake”. It introduces Guipan Lake from the east and exploits 150,000 square meters of lake area to join wetland park seamlessly.
Shunde “Joy Coast PLUS” will use waterfront leisure theme business zone and boutique theme amusement park to promote Shunde tourism industry to create a new tour mode of “two days and one night”.
“Joy Coast PLUS” theme business zone includes ecological shopping mall and Qushui Bay Business Street
So far, the construction of Joy Coast theme business zone of Overseas Chinese Town has completed 60% and the place is estimated to be open in 2019.
