Direct Rail Services available from Foshan to Shenzhen and Chaoshan Area

On April 10th 2021, China's Railway Bureau will announce new updates on its railway route map. By then, two Intercity Railways will “join hands” for the first time - Foshan-Zhaoqing Intercity Railway and Guangzhou-Shenzhen Intercity Railway.

It heralds a new era of interconnection, making it possible for passengers to interchange with rail routes in Zhaoqing, Foshan, Guangzhou, Dongguan, and Shenzhen.
Zhaoqing will open the first Electric Multiple Units (EMU) to Chaoshan Area (Shantou), which ensures greater connection in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area.
