On the afternoon of December 27, the groundbreaking ceremony themed “Dynamic New Nanhai, Usher in New Future” was held in Nanhai Art Center Area.

Standing at where Qiandenghu Lake is intersected with Foshan Waterfront Landscape Corridor, Nanhai Art Center serves as a key area in Foshan that integrates financial service, culture & leisure, high-end commerce and infrastructure.

As scheduled, seven projects were signed and five infrastructure projects officially started construction in the Nanhai Art Center Area, marking an important node for urban development.

It is worth mentioning that Ma Yansong, whose team is responsible for the three venues in Nanhai Art Center, will present his design concept of the Center the first time. As one of the most internationally influential Chinese architects and the first Chinese architect to win the right to design important landmark buildings overseas, Ma Yansong brought his idea of "injecting emotion into the scenery" into the construction of the Center, creating new possibilities for city development.
