This year, Foshan Media Group and Foshan News Network launched a special series of micro stories. Based on 10 real cases of Foshan focusing on high-quality development, reform and opening up, rural revitalization, innovation and entrepreneurship etc, the stories have witnessed a revolution for Foshan's new development philosophy.

The ninth episode Martial Arts tells a story about a young man, who has been determined to learn martial arts since childhood, and hacks his way through difficulties to promote Foshan Kung-Fu culture.

The main character Ziyang loves martial arts since he was a little boy. After graduation, he gave up the chance to work in a promising start-up and put all his efforts into the martial arts association. Besides, he teaches many Foshan students Kung-Fu every night for free.

A girl named Qingqing went to the Wushu center to watch Ziyang teach Wing Chun every night. One day, Ziyang plucked up the courage to say hello to Qingqing and invited her to learn Wing Chun. As a result, Qingqing became a member of Wing Chun organization and got acquainted with other fellows.

This episode is based on the real story of Dai Zilong, who is the person in charge of Foshan national intangible cultural heritage Wing Chun and the vice president of Foshan Wing Chun Association. He started to practice martial arts at the age of 7 and began to learn Wing Chun at the age of 14. After graduation, he started his own business but he never forgot his Kung-Fu dream. Later, he turned over his company to other people and devoted himself to martial arts. This decision was not accepted by his parents and friends. However, he made it to prove his determination to pass on Foshan Kung-Fu and bring Chinese culture to the world.

With the efforts of Dai Zilong and other Wing Chun masters, Wing Chun was listed as the fifth batch of national intangible cultural heritage project.
