Hundreds of thousands of hiking enthusiasts from the Greater Bay Area took part in the Foshan 50KM Hike on the morning of April 1. They would walk along five different routes to enjoy the beauty of this city together, and head to the landmark final destination - Century Lotus Sports Center.

After the rainy days, the spring is full of vitality. Around 7 am this morning, the starting spot in five districts of Foshan was already crowded with people from all walks of life - medical staff, moral models, manufacturing entrepreneurs, high-level talents, sports champions, and even international friends.

First held in 2015, Foshan 50KM Hike has been widely praised by citizens and recognized as a grand event in the Greater Bay Area. Through walking by and visiting landmarks of the city along the hike, residents can feel the charm of the city and witness the development of China.

Notably, this year’s Foshan 50KM Hike has been upgraded to a cultural week. With integrated online and offline resources, this week-long event aims to display the latest progress in building a livable, resilient and smart city, as well as the new image of high-quality modern urban construction of Foshan.
