The 2023 World Hydrogen Technology Convention kicked off on May 22 at Qiaoshan Culture Center, Nanhai District. The World Hydrogen Technology Convention and the World Hydrogen Energy Conference are the two most important conferences in the field of hydrogen energy, held regularly by the International Association for Hyfrogen Energy (IAHE) in different countries each year.

As early as 2009, Nanhai has begun to cultivate its hydrogen energy industry, being one of the earliest regions in China to set up hydrogen energy industry. Remarkably, Nanhai held China's first International Hydrogen Energy and Fuel Cell Conference and Exhibition (CHFCE) in 2017 from December 4 to 9, which acted as a pioneering demonstration zone in China's hydrogen energy industry and provided a platform for domestic hydrogen energy industry enterprises to exchange experience and seek opportunities, promoting the development of hydrogen energy industry in China.

After more than 10 years of cultivation, hydrogen energy industry in Nanhai has become more and more prosperous. At present, more than 130 hydrogen-related enterprises and institutions have settled in in Nanhai, forming a complete hydrogen energy industry chain with domestic independent intellectual property rights.

Taking the upcoming 2023 World Hydrogen Technology Convention as an opportunity, Nanhai will continue its plan to build itself a top hydrogen energy zone in China.
