It reflects the end of summer and the beginning of autumn, signifying the fruitful season is approaching. In Chinese, this phase is known as "the autumn tiger", suggesting an interim season of sweltering heat before the temperatures finally plummet. During the season, Foshan presents a scene of abundant harvest. The rice paddies are filled with undulating waves of golden rice, while sunflowers bloom brilliantly. In the vineyards, rose-scented grapes yield a bountiful harvest. They altogether create a beautiful picture of the start of autumn.
