Chancheng District will create two landmark stations on the Foshan Metro Line 3 Chancheng section, namely Zhongshan Park Station and Dunhou Station. As important urban cultural landmarks, these metro stations fully embody the district’s prestigious position as the "Heart of Foshan." Currently, the decoration upgrade plans for both stations have been unveiled.

Zhongshan Park Station Decoration Plans

Plan 1: Cantonese Opera Theme (Cantonese Opera House)

Foshan is one of the birthplaces of Cantonese opera. The decoration upgrade plan for Zhongshan Park Station is centered around the historical development of Foshan Cantonese opera, with the Cantonese Opera House as the core. It incorporates design elements such as the architectural style of the Cantonese Opera House, the water sleeves in Cantonese opera, and cultural scenes to create a trendy atmosphere for visitors to capture memorable moments.

Zhongshan Park Station Decoration Plan 2: Kung Fu Theme (Foshan Jingwu Sports Association)

Located within Zhongshan Park, the Foshan Jingwu Sports Association is a cultural heritage site and one of the carriers of Foshan's martial art culture. Decoration Plan 2 for Zhongshan Park Station showcases traditional and modern martial arts routines such as Wing Chun, White Eyebrow Boxing, Hung Gar, and Dragon Style Boxing, promoting the spirit of Jingwu.

Dunhou Station (Formerly known as Foshan Railway Station)

Plan 1: Qiuse Theme A

Foshan Qiuse is a festive custom celebrated by the locals to mark the bountiful harvest, also one of the most characteristic folk cultures in Foshan. Dunhou Station draws inspiration from Foshan Qiuse, incorporating elements such as lanterns and festive carts, along with performances of Qiuse Parade, creating a vibrant cultural exhibition that highlights Foshan's unique Qiuse culture.
