Registration for the 2024 Nanhai Guicheng Sanshan Ring Island Half Marathon and Foshan Sanlongwan Healthy Run is in full swing, attracting the attention and participation of many running enthusiasts. Early on October 19, nearly 90 running members gathered at Wenhan Lake Park to warm up for the upcoming event. As they ran, they enjoyed the beautiful scenery along the route and the joy that comes from exercise.

During the run, the participants encouraged and supported each other. It was noted that the age range among the runners was quite diverse, with individuals from their early 20s to a 75-year-old member. They all came together from various parts of Guangdong, driven by their passion for running and commitment to health.

"Wenhan Lake Park has a beautiful environment, making it very suitable for running," said Ms. Zeng, a runner who visited the park for the first time. She was impressed by the well-maintained running paths and the professional shock-absorption design. Mr. Li, a runner from Guangzhou, mentioned that he has registered for the half marathon on December 1. "I really like Foshan and hope to experience its beautiful scenery while enjoying the fun of running." Mr. Li said.

The 2024 Foshan (Nanhai) Sanshan Ring Island Half Marathon and Sanlongwan Healthy Run will kick off on the morning of December 1 at Jihua Laboratory. This event is expected to attract 12,000 enthusiastic runners, who will witness the perfect integration of sports and technology.

The competition features two events: a half marathon (6,000 participants) and a healthy run (6,000 participants), starting from the picturesque Wenhan Lake Park and passing through key innovation zones such as Jihua Laboratory and Sanshan Science and Technology Innovation Center. Participants will get an up-close experience of the vibrant energy of high-tech enterprises as they run, while also appreciating the deep heritage and limitless charm of Foshan's Intelligent manufacturing. Additionally, the route cleverly incorporates natural ecological landmarks like Sanshan Forest Park, Kexin Lake, and greenways, allowing participants to enjoy the pleasures of exercise while taking in the green beauty of Foshan.
