On October 29, the "Cross-Boundary Public Services" (Foshan) and the Hong Kong "Cross-Boundary Self-Service Machines" were officially launched in Nanhai, Foshan. Starting now, enterprises and citizens can use these self-service machines at the 24-hour service area of the Nanhai District Administrative Service Center to apply for Hong Kong government services without returning to Hong Kong. This further deepens the governmental connectivity between Guangdong and Hong Kong.The installation of self-service machines is a collaborative effort between the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region Government and the Guangdong Provincial Government, aimed at promoting cross-boundary public services. This self-service area is the only self-service zone in Foshan, making Foshan the fourth core city, following Guangzhou, Shenzhen, and Zhuhai, to implement Hong Kong's "Cross-Boundary Public Services" Self-Service Machines.The Hong Kong "Cross-Boundary Public Services" provides 70 service items across 11 relevant departments, including high-frequency services such as tax services, company registration, property and vehicle inquiries and registrations, personal documentation, and talent immigration applications.
