Recently, Daliang Sub-district in Shunde has unveiled the "Supporting Measures for Promoting Employment and Skill Improvement" (hereinafter referred to as "the Measures"), some specific groups are included in the endeavor. For anyone who fits the categories, feel free to apply. The Measures will last till December 31st, 2024.

1) For "older rural labor force", the age range for "social insurance subsidy of employment" has been extended - "40-49 years old for women and 50-59 years old for men". Subsidy standards for two groups of people have also been raised, including "special groups with employment difficulties" and "group working in facilities caring the elderly and the disabled".

2) The Measures also added subsidies and incentives for vocational skills improvement. A subsidy of up to 1,000 yuan will be given to individuals who have obtained the national vocational qualification certificates or vocational skill level certificates. Individuals who have won awards in vocational skills competitions of all levels will be given an one-time reward of up to 50,000 yuan.

3) Self-employment is also highly encouraged, as the subsidy standard has been raised to 10,000 yuan.
