On August 22, Shunde Chef King Contest (Final) was held at OCT Harbor Plus. 24 young contestants showed off their cooking styles and served their magic recipes, who wowed the judges and the audience on the spot.
 
 
Contestant No. 9, Tang Peixin made a classic Shunde fish soup and named it colorful fish paste soup. Her mother, Ms. He, became her "manager" on the spot, who helped her "little chef" to cook the dish on her won. According to He, cooking is a basic life skill. For kids, cooking breeds growth and cross-generational exchange on food and cooking.
 
 
As the knife rises and falls, the simple ingredients, carrots and cucumbers are carved into different beautiful shapes in the hands of Yang Jiajian, the No. 6 player. Yang Jiajians mother told reporters that her son has been in love with cooking since he was a child. He started to help his mother when he was in first grade. He is in fifth grade this year and has many years of cooking experience. At the same time, he is also a chef of Xishan Primary School Grade One, today he participated in the competition with a pineapple sweet and sour pork that he usually likes very much, hoping to top her game.
 
 
Children are so young on the event and it is amazing that children at this age can make such incredible dishes of this level. Hopefully, Shunde cuisine will be passed out to more younger kids.
