Foshan International Land Port
The first TIR (Transports Internationaux Routiers or International Road Transport) international highway entry channel in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area (GBA) was opened on January 3rd. A truck from Uzbekistan arrived at Foshan International Land Port and passed the clearance inspection by Guangzhou Customs.
The first truck from Uzbekistan is passing through the customs checkpoint.
In addition to air, sea, and rail transportation, the TIR international highway marks the fourth type of international channel connecting the GBA with overseas countries. It enables seamless transportation without changing vehicles or containers throughout the journey, providing a more efficient and convenient logistics channel for direct delivery of goods from Central Asia to the GBA.
