On October 2, the 2024 Inaugural F3 Dragon Boat Super League Finals were launched at Guipan Lake in Shunde, featuring 24 top dragon boat teams from Foshan's five districts.

During the opening ceremony, themed around "Made in Foshan" and "Top 10 Traditional Cultures", seven colorful dragon boats  paraded on the water, showcasing traditional Foshan culture, including lion dance, Cantonese Opera, Kung Fu, and pottery, combined with modern elements. Additionally, Olympic champion Chen Qingchen and popular singer Zhang Hexuan, as promotional ambassadors for the F3 Dragon Boat Super League, joined the audience to experience the unique charm of Foshan's dragon boat culture.

The finals were divided into three categories: men's 22-person dragon boat, men's 12-person dragon boat, and women's 12-person dragon boat. At the competition, several champion teams of national and international dragon boat events, vied for the city championship. To the rhythm of powerful drumbeats, the competitors paddled vigorously in perfect unison, creating a spectacular scene akin to a waterborne version of "Fast and Furious." This event highlighted the spirit of teamwork and hard work embodied by the people of Foshan.

After intense competition, the Shunde Lecong Louvre Men's Dragon Boat Team excelled by winning three titles in the men's 12-person dragon boat 500-meter straight race, the men's 22-person dragon boat 200-meter straight race, and the men's 22-person dragon boat 500-meter straight race. The Nanhai Jiujiang Shuangzheng Men's Dragon Boat Team claimed the championship in the men's 12-person dragon boat 200-meter straight race, men's 22-person dragon boat 400-meter return race. Meanwhile, the Zhouliufu Jewelry Women's Dragon Boat Team won the championship in the women's 12-person dragon boat 200-meter straight race, while the Jiujiang Shuangzheng Women's Dragon Boat Team claimed the title in the 12-person dragon boat 500-meter straight race.
