Recently, Shunde Economy Promotion Bureau has unveiled draft measures on supporting digital economy agglomeration development in Shunde to collect public opinions.

Shunde has seen sound and fast development in manufacturing, yet problems such as insufficient supply and talents still exist. To further seize opportunities and uphold industrial transformation, soft-power amenities shall be strengthened, according to the draft rules.

100 million yuan reward for top 500 enterprises

To encourage enterprises to settle in the agglomeration area, the world’s top 500 enterprises or their subsidiaries that settle in the area will be granted a maximum reward of 100 million yuan or 10 million yuan subsidy each, respectively. Additionally, there will be subsidies for purchases or leases of office.

Offer housing and enrollment quota to attract talents

Employees with master or doctor degree will be rewarded 50,000 yuan and 30,000 yuan respectively; 3 talent housing quotas will be offered to qualified enterprises and there will be 3 compulsory education enrollment quotas in Shunde District.

Further expand incentives for enterprises

Non-e-commerce enterprises with annual operating income of more than 20 million yuan or e-commerce enterprises with annual operating income of more than 100 million yuan will be granted a maximum reward of 10 million incentive in three years.

The incentives, which are intended to accelerate the production capacity of small and micro enterprises and newly settled enterprises, will further expand the scale of the digital economy agglomeration and optimize the business environment.
