On June 30, the completion ceremony of the Foshan Blue Bay Cloud Computing Industrial Park (Phase I) and the inauguration of the Foshan Blue Bay No.1 Cloud Center were held. This marks the first operational project in the Yundonghai Electronic Information Industrial Park.

The Foshan Blue Bay Cloud Computing Industrial Project is a key project in Guangdong Province and a large-scale five-star data park in the southern region jointly developed by Glory Data and China Telecom. Located in Sanshui District, the project is situated within the Yundonghai Electronic Information Industrial Park. Spanning an area of approximately 4.5 hectares, the park boasts a planned total investment of around 2 billion yuan.

Designed and constructed in compliance with national A-level standards, this project is a new type of green data center that is highly energy-efficient, intelligent, and environmentally friendly. The first phase of the project has completed on the day of the event. According to Wang Yansheng, Vice President of Glory Data, companies that currently settled in are mainly related to internet and finance, including several prominent internet companies.

The Foshan Blue Bay Cloud Center, with a hosting capacity of over 2000 racks, was officially launched on the same day. It is expected that the whole industrial park will be equipped with over 8000 racks in the future. The park aims to attract companies in the fields of cloud computing, big data, internet, Internet of Things (IoT), biomedicine, network security, and next-generation information and communication technology, helping to create a diverse industrial ecosystem and establish a cloud industry base in Foshan.
