In the first half of this year, the Van Yang Innovation Park in Genghe Town, Gaoming District, has introduced 9 companies to settle in and 5 companies to start trial production, attracting nearly 40 companies to land so far.

The Van Yang Innovation Park has been listed as a key construction project in Guangdong Province for three consecutive years, with a total investment of over 10 billion yuan and a total area of approximately 32.5 hectares. The first phase of the project, with an investment of 4 billion yuan and an area of 486 mu, aims to create a manufacturing industrial agglomeration platform integrating production and manufacturing, scientific research and development, warehousing and logistics, financial services, and intelligent park management.

Building manufacturing industrial clusters, creating an industrial highland in the airport economic zone

The project is located in the Intelligent Manufacturing Industrial Park of the Foshan Airport Economic Zone, one of the top ten innovation-driven characteristic manufacturing industrial parks. It is positioned as a high-end equipment manufacturing park, with a focus on introducing leading industries such as equipment manufacturing, intelligent manufacturing, new energy, new materials, hardware and plastic manufacturing, electronic information, and precision machinery.

Currently, the first and second batches of factories have been completed and started operation in February this year. The third and fourth batches of factories are planned to be completed and delivered in October. In the future, the entire park is expected to accommodate more than 500 companies, providing over 30,000 job opportunities.

Since its investment promotion started in 2020, the park has attracted nearly 40 companies, including Hugestone Dust Collector Machinery, Yufeng Plastics, and Zhibihe Materials. Among them, there are one specialized, refined, differential and innovative (SRDI) enterprise and ten high-tech enterprises.

According to the leader of Hugestone Dust Collector, the reason why the company settles in Van Yang Innovation Park mainly lies in the park's excellent geographical location in the Foshan Airport Economic Zone. With the establishment of the Pearl River Delta Hub (Guangzhou) New Airport, the Intelligent Manufacturing Industrial Park of Foshan Airport Economic Zone has been reshaping the new spatial pattern of the industry. Meanwhile, Gaoming has entered an important window period for industrial leapfrog development and for accelerating industrial catch-up.

Creating "Van Yang Mode" to solve the development difficulties of SMEs

Following the operation model of "industrial agglomeration, city-industry integration, resource sharing, and production-finance interaction," Van Yang Innovation Park provides a new option for small and medium-sized enterprises (SME) to settle and develop. The park has introduced major professional financial institutions such as CZBank, Industrial Bank, ICBC, Agricultural Bank of China, Bank of China and China Construction Bank to provide financial services, such as reducing difficulties in loan issuing and down payment ratios, for SMEs in the park, comprehensively solving the financing issue and supporting the development of SMEs.

In addition, by innovatively adopting the "production + living + supporting" model, Van Yang Innovation Park plans to provide supporting facilities such as Van Yang Commercial Plaza, blue-collar apartments, and a modern central canteen for employees, creating a 10-minute working and living circle in the park, making them easy to live and work conveniently within the park.
