The Philips Water Health, Estun Robotics, ZSRobot, and TSIC Robot projects are all expected to be completed and put into production by 2024. On October 24, the Construction Bureau (Shunde) of Management Committee of Sino-German Industrial Service Zone (Sanlongwan Sci-Tech City), joined the "People's Livelihood at Your Doorstep" program, revealing this great news.

Sanlongwan Sci-Tech City is a significant strategic initiative strongly promoted by the Foshan Municipal Committee and Government. It plays a crucial role in Foshan's deep involvement in the development of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area and the advancement of the "Guangzhou-Foshan Pole" project. It's also a pivotal part of Foshan's plan to establish a high-standard hub for technological innovation, as part of the "One District, One Park, One City" scheme.

At present, Sanlongwan Sci-Tech City is actively working on establishing a "1+1+N" framework for technological innovation. In this framework, "1" represents the "Technology Research and Achievement Transformation Base," primarily situated in Sanshan New City in Nanhai and Chencun Town in Shunde. The other "1" refers to the "Foshan New City International Cooperation High-end Business District", which encompasses the Foshan New City area and the Tanzhou International Convention and Exhibition Center. The "N" includes various areas like the "Technology Talent Living Community" in Qicha Area, Chancheng, the "Robot Technology Innovation Platform" in Shunde's Sino-German Intelligent Manufacturing International Cooperation Demonstration Zone, and the "Biopharmaceutical Innovation Platform" in the Beiwei area of Shunde.

Sanlongwan Sci-Tech City, with 75% of its area in Shunde District, aligns closely with the core plans for Foshan New City's international business district," says Wu Zhenhai, Director of Sanlongwan Shunde Area Construction Bureau. Shunde Area leverages the platform advantages of the Sanlongwan Management Committee to tap into the potential for foreign cooperation, project development, policy support, and consistently introduce new resources into Beijiao, Lecong, and Chencun in Shunde.

As of the end of September this year, Sanlongwan Shunde Area has attracted 15 prospective projects for site inspections. They have worked in coordination with district-level departments and Lecong Town to allocate 70,000 square meters of office space in Foshan New City, with 26,000 square meters designated for commercial use. Additionally, they've facilitated the construction of Foshan Talent Park and initiated the construction of the first phase of the three-dimensional slow transport system (Baihe Avenue). They have also assisted local businesses in applying for special support funds, aiming to secure more funding to support the region's development.

At present, the primary objective of Sanlongwan Sci-Tech City is to build a globally influential tech hub. They are focusing on boosting innovation capabilities, advancing critical industry technologies, and speeding up the transformation of scientific achievements. Wu Zhenhai said, "We will collaborate with Beijiao Town to ensure the construction of these projects. All projects are progressing according to plan, and they are expected to be completed by the end of next year."
