On August 2, the 2023 Fortune Global 500 list was unveiled,with two prominent companies from Foshan on the list.

The two Foshan-based companies on the prestigious list are Country Garden Holdings (referred to as "Country Garden") and Midea Group (referred to as "Midea Group"). Country Garden secured the 206th spot with an impressive revenue of $63.979 billion USD last year, while Midea Group claimed the 278th position with a strong revenue of $51.393 billion USD during the same period.
