Recently, Shunde's intangible cultural heritage, Xiangyun Silk, made its debut at the International Exchange Conference on Excellent Traditional Chinese Culture 2023 Opening Ceremony for "Inheritance in Progress" Evening Celebration of Intangible Heritage. Shunde's intangible cultural heritage has once again gained worldwide popularity.

On August 10, with the support of China Science Center of International Eurasian Academy of Sciences, IEAS (CHINA), the International Exchange Conference on Excellent Traditional Chinese Culture 2023 Opening Ceremony for "Inheritance in Progress" Evening Celebration of Intangible Heritage was held at Cloud Computing Center of Chinese Academy of Science in Songshan Lake, Dongguan, Guangdong.

Diplomats and International guests from 30 countries, including Albania, Nigeria, Malta, Cabo Verde, Kenya, and Botswana, attended the conference.

At the conference, Chinese experts and scholars of cultural studies, inheritors of intangible cultural heritage, and many ambassadors and overseas Chinese engaged in discussions. They talked about hot topics in the field of excellent traditional Chinese culture, exchanged ideas on how to draw wisdom and nourishment from excellent traditional Chinese culture to inherit and promote China's intangible culture heritage, as well as the application of traditional Chinese culture in the high-quality development of modern industries. While showcasing excellent traditional Chinese culture to the world, it also provided a platform for communication and cooperation between traditional Chinese culture and economic and trade cooperation with other countries around the world.

Ancient, rich, and colorful as traditional Chinese culture is, it consists of numerous intangible cultural heritage products. These products not only represent the essence of traditional Chinese culture, but also emphasize high artistic and collection value. As a treasure of China's intangible cultural heritage, Xiangyun Silk represents the millennium-old craftsmanship and the crystallization of wisdom of the Chinese nation for thousands of years, enjoying a great reputation both domestically and internationally. International representatives attending the event signed collection contracts with four products including Tangxian Silk and Xiangyun Silk, bringing these unique and precious intangible cultural heritage products back to their embassies and national museums to expand the influence of China's intangible cultural heritage products internationally.
