Jun'an Guandi and Hau Wong Cruise, known as provincial intangible cultural heritage with over 170 years, will be held on October 18. The cruise will carry the statues of Guandi and Hau Wong, departs from Sanhua Imperial Temple and then travels around villages in Jun'an.

Historically, the cruise would last for several days, spreading the best wishes to everyone along the way. Remarkably, the cloth and equipment used in the cruise are filled with local folk culture.

The cruise would attract citizens from nearby areas, and even from further places like Hong Kong SAR, Macao SAR and southeast countries. It is considered as one grand reunion for Foshan citizens.

This year's cruise comes with three themed activities, including folk cruise, Guandi Fair and Guandi Feast.

Folk Cruise

This year's cruise will introduce some new matrices, like ancient armor group and Piaose group, to create a "Cruise Plus" ceremony. Famous streamers and influencers will re-create the armor sets from Han Dynasty and join the parade with their iconic clothing.

Guandi Fair

Multiple young artists will be invited to jointly give Jun'an a new appearance. Additionally, art cruise including modern singing and dance, folk creations and etc will be held at Guandi Fair, providing a memorable experience to visitors.

Guandi Feast

Guandi Feast will be held at Li Wentian Hall. There is an old slang saying, having Guandi Feast wishes you smart and energetic all the time. Therefore, don't miss out the spectacular Guandi Feast!
