People are brave enough to wear cotton-padded jackets and have ice cream at a freezing day. However, Dragon Boat Race Men's team in Zinan Village is even braver to row in freezing river, warming up for the upcoming men's three-person grass boats race.

Traditional dragon boats have a dozen of people in each boat, which allow them to stay together to withstand cold. So, what is the secret of fighting against cold weather with merely three people?

On the rehearsal day, falling into the water is the most entertaining scene that audiences most expect to capture. According to the weather report, the temperature on the rehearsal day is still 8℃. However, the temperature will drop as lower as 5℃ on the competition day, December 23.

Contest Time: 14:30 (Setting up dragon boats) - 17:30 on December 23, 2023 (Saturday).

Race Route: It starts from the set-up point, towards Liyuan Waterway, pass the Zinan Port Park, Fu Garden and Performance stage, then enters into the Zinan Road water section, through Taoyuan Yipin and finally returns to the Rainbow Garden set-up point. It counts as one complete round. The finishing line is set at Zinan Port after six complete rounds, which is about 13.8 kilometer long. This route runs through the upstream of the Zinan Cruise. You can also take a boat ride on the same waterway to witness the extensive training effort of rowers.
