Shunde is set to unveil a brand-new ecological corridor that integrates bird watching, cycling, and camping. The project stretches approximately 1500 meters along the eastern bank of the Pingzhou Waterway. Covering an area of around 100,000 square meters, including a lush green space spanning about 78,000 square meters, this project is underway with a recent commencement of construction.

With a total investment of around 17 million yuan, the project is anticipated to reach completion by the end of this year. Designed to be an integrated urban leisure corridor, it will encompass dedicated lanes for cycling, jogging, and waterfront strolls. With the primary focus on flood prevention and embankment safety, the development aims to enhance the riverbank and water environment. The upcoming space will feature service stations and rest areas, catering to citizens' need for an eco-friendly and comfortable outdoor activity hub.

The Egret Island Ecological Park, which includes an Egret Habitat, will function as the rear garden of Chencun Flower World. It will revolve around core themes such as "ecology+" and "culture+". Through strategic approaches, it aims to become a model of harmonious coexistence between humanity and nature within the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area.

This whole project is a good example of how Chencun is working to take care of water and make the area nicer. It's also part of a bigger plan in Shunde to make the waterfront a great place for everyone. They're making a place where water, business, and the city can all work together.
