On April 8th, the press conference of "2023 Foshan (Nanzhuang) Automobile Culture Carnival" was held in Nanzhuang Lvdao Lake Four Season Art Collection, announcing that the carnival will kick off at Foshan International Convention and Exhibition Center (Nanzhuang) from April 29 to May 2. This is the first car exhibition hosted by Foshan News and Media Center and also the first time that the Foshan Automobile Expo has landed in Nanzhuang.

During the 4-day carnival, citizens can not only see the latest and popular cars from various brands, but also they can enjoy "Car Party" programs brought by media influencers, DJ talents, etc. Moreover, there is going to be a whole lot of car-related activities in Foshan. The first-ever Competition for Vehicle-Industry Influencers in Foshan and Foshan Car Audio Modification Festival will be kicked off in tandem, giving audience a chance to enjoy an automobile feast. In addition, the car boot sale fair and gourmet festival will be presented on-site.

As a grand event in Foshan, this car carnival has designed a special activity of "Buy a car at low price and enjoy a happy tour in Nanzhuang" for each family. With three theme cultural routes including "ancient village tour", "ecological tour" and "industrial tour", the activity will allow citizens to fully explore the Lingnan-style waterside scenery and powerful manufacturing industry.

At the press conference, Toyota's second generation hydrogen energy vehicle MIRAI brought by TGPM Group, one of the representative of the car carnival, made an amazing appearance. The model, which was launched at the Beijing 2022 Winter Olympic and Paralympic Games, will have nearly 800-kilometer mileage with only 3 minutes of hydrogen injection. It's notable that water is the only emission during,driving, making it a truly environment-friendly car with zero carbon emission. Many visitors were attracted by its cutting-edge technology and avant-garde design.

During the car carnival, Chancheng District will launch a new round of car purchase subsidy activities to further encourage consumption.

"As a big industrial town in the Pearl River Delta Area, Nanzhuang is well known for its ceramics. But in fact, automobile industry also enjoys a big market share globally." Commented by Liu Yujun, deputy mayor of Nanzhuang Town. Last year, car sales in Nanzhuang totaled 20,000 units , accounting for about 1/15 of Foshan. The overall turnover reached more than 3.5 billion yuan, a year-on-year growth of about 14%, showing huge potential in the automobile industry.
