2023 Shunde Dragon Boat Cultural Carnival will be held in November. During the carnival, citizens could enjoy tons of activities like dragon boat competition, dragon boat feast and drama performance. It aims to create an immersive carnival about dragon boat culture for everyone.

As the major event for this carnival, 2023 China Dragon Boat Grand Price will be held from November 25-26. Notably, it would be an intensive competition as all participants are limited to winner teams of China Longzhou Tournament and 2023 China Dragon Boat Open Championship.

Also, the 2nd Foshan County-level Dragon Boat Competition will be held on November 18. The winner will then claim the title of "the Dragon King of Foshan".

Meanwhile, the carnival includes amusements like dragon boat cultural parade and dragon boat feast, aiming to integrate the dragon boat culture into daily life.

The 2nd Foshan County-level Dragon Boat Competition

It will be held on November 18. It includes 12-member dragon boat races for 200 meters and 500 meters. The competition is expected to have 500 participants from five districts of Foshan.

2023 China Dragon Boat Grand Price

There will be 42 teams participating in this grand event, including 15 from Guangdong and 27 from places outside Guangdong.

Dragon Boat Cultural Parade

It will innovatively integrate the custom of "celebration for Mother Dragon" "colouring dragon's eyes" with other intangible cultural heritage in the parade, creating one modern experience for dragon boat culture.
