7 Athletes from Foshan Ready to Shine at Hangzhou Asian Games

Recently, the full list of China's sports delegation for the 19th Asian Games in Hangzhou was revealed. Among them, there are 7 athletes from Foshan. Let's get to know them:



Chen Qingchen, a badminton player, born in 1997, honed her skills in Foshan and became a key player in the national team's women's doubles.



Nie Yide (right), a rower, graduated from Foshan Experimental High School and has won numerous championships, including at the national and international levels.


Ni Xulin (left), another rower, moved to Foshan from Jiangsu and has excelled in many international competition in recent years, winning several titles.



Liang Jianhao, a fencer, rose to prominence through provincial competitions and joined the national team in 2016.



Hu Changxin (middle), a water polo player, earned a gold medal at the 14th National Games.



Li Yongjia, a footballer, began his journey in Foshan and now plays for the Meizhou Hakka Football Club in the Chinese Super League.



Zhang Jianjie, a handball player, won the national championship in 2017 and played in the European Handball Champions League.
