When people come to Foshan to buy ceramics, most of them will go to Jihua road and Wugang road in Chancheng. However, it is also easy for people to buy Foshan products in Beijing Shili He home furnishing materials center(北京十里河家居建材中心). A ceramics street that gathering lots of flagship stores is located there, including Dongpeng, New Zhongyuan Ceremics, Monalisa Tiles, Guanzhu Ceramics, Eagle Ceramics and other Foshan famous brands, displaying the latest ceramics products made in Foshan.
The street is about 200 meters long, having a business area of nearly 100,000 square meters. The business areas of Dongpeng’s and Monalisa Tiles’s experience museums are over 3,000 square meters.
Foshan brands can be seen anywhere in Beijing’s home furnishing center.
"If local people want to buy ceramics, Foshan products is their first choice.” Mr. Liu, a buyer said, “Foshan has a long history in producing ceramics product and its product quality is good, which is famous around the country. We will recommend Foshan brands to consumers, such as New Zhongyuan and Guanzhu.”

In fact, Foshan sets up strict quality standards for ceramics products. Most famous enterprises are proud of their standards which are stricter than European’s.
"Foshan focuses on ‘enhancing product quality’ all the time,” Lu Yi, a NPC deputy and Secretary of the CPC Foshan Municipal Committee said in a plenary meeting held by Guangdong delegation of the fifth session of the 12th National People’s Congress (NPC) on March 6th. He said that Foshan will take craftsman spirit as the cornerstone, following the development road of “win by quality, led by standard and enhance by brand”, paying attention to improve product quality and put supply-side structural reform in place.

Foshan smart appliance come into local consumers’ view
"Set a clear direction of developing intelligent manufacturing, develop advanced manufacturing industry, thus moving toward mid- and high-end manufacturing. ” Intelligent manufacturing was written into this year’s government work report. Foshan insists on the goal of improving quality and increasing efficiency, taking “Internet plus intelligent manufacturing” as the main direction, and carrying out policies about “Made in China 2025”.

In recent years, household appliance industry in Foshan has been focused on intelligent manufacturing. In Beijing, famous-brand products like Midea, Galanz, Macro and Hisense-KELON were displayed at prominent position in some household appliance shopping malls such as Suning, Gome and Dazhong etc.
Except for ceramics and household appliances, bathroom accessories, lighting products and home furnishing products made in Foshan are also well known in Beijing. Foshan has become the information center, technology research and development center, talent center and design center of Chinese bathroom accessory industry. Arrow, Dongpeng, SSWW and other brands appeared in the home furnishing market. Arrow is called “national brand” by local distributors, attracting Beijing and peripheral residents.
In several industries like cloth and supermarket, the “new retail” proposed by Ma Yun has been carried out.
