The 2017 World Famous Brands Assembly (WFBA) co-held by US-China Economic Trade & Investment General Chamber of Commerce (USCGC), World Brand Organization (WBO), World City and World Enterprise Research Association (WWRA), European-American-Asian Investment Union (EAAIU), Asian Investment & World Fund Union (AIWFU) and Global Strategy Economic Development Committee (GSEDC) was held on Dec. 28, 2017 in Paris, France. It released the list of China City Top 50 while Foshan was on the list.
"China City Top 50 not only have advantageous location and enormous investment potential, but also are leading modern, international, smart, commercial and ecological cities.” President of WFBA Zhou Jiangshanjun said.
It was the 11th convention to release the list of China Top 50 since 2005. WFBA had a thorough evaluation of the investment potential of 128 Chinese cities covering Hong Kong, Macao, Taiwan and mainland China, which focused on 16 indexes in 8 aspects, development quality, legalization, innovation dynamic, real economy, Internet plus, business environment, investment policy and ecological environment.
The election of China City Top 50 aims to improve global acknowledgement of Chinese cities, promoting Chinese cities to walk towards the world, boosting real economy investment, pushing urban high-quality development, and improving city core competitiveness. WFBA is one of the most influential international brand conventions with high authority, credibility and influence in the field of promoting investment home and abroad.
