It is reported that steady progress has been seen in the construction of the Nanhai Sports Center, and some venues are expected to be open to the public by the end of this year.

As one of the three key cultural and sports projects in Nanhai District, Nanhai Sports Center located in Nanhai Central Park on the south of Bo’ai Road in Shishan Town and on the west of Foshan 1st Ring Expressway . It occupies an area of 40 hectares, with a total planned construction area of about 187,000 square meters. By far, the stadium, swimming pool, national fitness hall, Nanhai District Amateur Sports School and other related supporting projects have been completed.

After completion, the project will become a National Sports Industry Demonstration Base, Modern Leisure and Sports Complex, Nanhai Fitness Center, Youth Sports Training Base, and Culture and Sports Education Center.
