A new sculpture was recently unveiled at Chancheng Peoples Park. Set in the north of Lingnan Avenue, the west part of Peoples Park, the sculpture uses stainless steel, with an overall height of 4.8 meters and a total weight of about 15 tons.

The sculpture was landed on a hill-shaped base, decorated with red paint and golden strips. Such design tells an important code followed by China for years - lucid waters and lush mountains are invaluable assets to its people.

On the base, stood a cube, with each side depicting "Foshan" and its five districts written in various scripts - regular script, running script, cursive script, seal script, official script and black font.

The lamps also carry beautiful meanings, meaning "five districts are united as one".

As for its lighting time in a day, the sculpture will be adjusted depending on sunlight, as it has been implanted with a LED energy-saving lamps. Other than that, it holds a high safety standard - waterproof and immune from lightning and electric leakage.
