The spotlight falls on the prestigious Diejiao Dragon Boat Drifting, a grand-scale folk event in Foshan that has gained nationwide attention during the celebrated Dragon Boat Festival.

You might have seen car drifting, but what about dragon boat drifting? In a breathtaking display of skill and adrenaline-pumping action, the Diejiao Dragon Boat Drifting Race in Foshan captivated spectators and pushed the boundaries of traditional dragon boat racing. The event, held on June 22 during the Dragon Boat Festival, showcased the unique art of dragon boat drifting.

Foshan's Diejiao is the only place in the world where you can witness this exciting event. Originating from the Ming Dynasty, the historic tradition of dragon boat racing has flourished for over 500 years.

Diejiao, with its unique and narrow waterways, offers the perfect stage for this exhilarating sport. The natural curves, including S, C, and L-shaped tracks, add a distinct dimension to the racing experience, setting the Diejiao Dragon Boat Drifting Race apart from other competitions.
