During the event, over 50 well-known writers from Hong Kong, Macao, and Guangdong Province visited historical sites in Foshan such as Nanfeng Ancient Kiln, New Shiwan Art Ceramics Factory, Liang's Garden, and the Guangdong Cantonese Opera Museum. They experienced the enduring tradition of ceramic creation lasting for over 600 years, appreciated the profound artistry of Foshan ceramics, strolled through the exquisite Lingnan gardens, and savored the melodious charm of Cantonese opera.

Ceramic cultural and creative products received attention.

Zhou Mimi, vice president of Hong Kong Writers Association, photographed her favorite pottery works.

"Today, I feels like coming home, back to the place where my mother has portraited in her work. Foshan has rich cultural heritages, with historical figures like Wong Fei-hung and Bruce Lee, as well as exquisite intangible cultural heritages such as pottery and paper-cutting. As a children's literature writer, I hope to showcase more of Foshan's rich historical and cultural heritage in my works for the next generation to understand and appreciate." Said Zhou Mimi, Vice President of the Hong Kong Writers' Association and daughter of author Huang Qingyun.

"On stage for a minute, off stage for ten years of practice. The red boat model preserved in the Cantonese Opera Museum made me truly understand how hard Cantonese opera performers have trained since childhood." After listening to the guide's introduction at the Guangdong Cantonese Opera Museum, Hong Kong writer Pan Mingzhu was deeply moved. Influenced by her mother, Pan Mingzhu also became a fan of Cantonese opera. As a planner and mentor for the promotion of Chinese reading and Chinese culture projects in Hong Kong, Pan Mingzhu also hopes to take her children to the Guangdong Cantonese Opera Museum for study during the summer vacation to gain a deeper understanding of Cantonese opera culture.

In recent years, writers from the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area have conducted more active exchanges, and have been more prolific in their literary creations. Zhang Kuang, a renowned writer from the Guangdong Writers Association, stated that the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area has close geographical proximity, shared language, and connected cultural heritage. This trip signifies the association's recognition and appreciation of Foshan's rich historical and cultural heritage.
