On August 16, the first event of the 2024 Shunde Sashimi Festival, the "Prosperity Feast," was held at the Longyue Bay Restaurant in Shunde, Foshan. Sixty tables were set up for diners to savor the exquisite taste of Shunde sashimi, where they experienced the perfect blend of flavor and elegance.

As 60 traditional fish lanterns made their way into the venue, the entire hall joined together to enjoy Shunde sashimi. At the event, the diverse and flavorful condiments from the Shunde sashimi "Eight Flavor Array" were served as the perfect toppings.

As soon as the fish slices enter your mouth, the cool, smoothtexture and the mix of spicy, sweet, and sour flavors created an explosive taste sensation.

The "Prosperity Feast" dinner featured 13 dishes, with the highlights being the "Prosperity-Shunde Sashimi" and "Bluefin Tuna with Chilled Abalone," alongside this year's sashimi festival symbol, the "Eight Flavor Array."

The "Eight Flavor Array" is composed of the "Three Flavor Array" (salt, oil, and sauce),the "Three Ingredient Array" (fresh, pickled, and fried ingredients),and the "Drink Array" (alcohol and beverages).

Diners could customize their sashimi experience, exploring the variety of ways to enjoy Shunde sashimi and savoring its fresh taste, truly embodying the spirit of "My Sashimi, My Way."

The 2024 Shunde Sashimi Festival marks the second time this event has been held. Following the launch on July 15, a series of activities will continue until the end of the year, including the festival's opening ceremony, a Shunde Sashimi High-Quality Development Brand Gala, a city-wide "Prosperity Feast," and a Creative Plating Competition.

During the festival, 25 renowned Shunde restaurants, including Longyue Bay Restaurant, Zhuroupo Private Home Cuisine, and Weikedao, will offer special sashimi festival menus. These efforts aim to attract food lovers from across the country to savor the authentic taste of Shunde, fueling a wave of culinary tourism and boosting Shunde's summer food and tourism economy.
