On November 13, the German Entrepreneurs Delegation to China visited Foshan as part of a series of events aimed at promoting bilateral cooperation. The delegation, led by Ingo Rieper, CEO of Media Pioneer Publishing and head of the delegation, consisted of nearly 30 entrepreneurs from various sectors including media, packaging automation, electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, and communication software. The visit focused on exploring business opportunities in Foshan, specifically in the Sanlongwan Sci-Tech City, and facilitated face-to-face exchanges between the German delegates and local enterprises.
The delegation members represented various industries, including media, packaging automation, electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, and communications software, encompassing many outstanding German entrepreneurs. Before arriving in Foshan, the delegation had already visited Hong Kong, Beijing, Shanghai, and Shenzhen for similar business exchanges.
During their visit to KUKA Robotics (Guangdong) Co., Ltd., the delegation toured the company's exhibition hall and production workshop, where they gained detailed insights into the development of KUKA robots, technological advancements, and industry applications. This allowed them to develop a deeper understanding of Foshan's digital and intelligent manufacturing capabilities.
A unique business exchange event took place on Sanlongwan Cruise, where discussions centered on fostering further cooperation between German and Foshan-based enterprises. This event has provided a platform for direct dialogue and precise matchmaking between Chinese and German businesses.
Germany is a global leader in manufacturing, with many leading enterprises in the fields of automotive, smart manufacturing, high-end equipment, and new materials. Foshan, one of China's major manufacturing bases, achieved an industrial output value of over 3 trillion RMB in 2023, ranking as China's fourth-largest industrial city. The prospects for industrial cooperation between Foshan and Germany are vast, with enormous growthpotential.

Ingo Rieper, head of the delegation, expressed that the members were all very interested in China. At the exchange meeting, Chen Liyao, COO of YIZUMI Co., Ltd., and Sun Yunni, Chairman of Sturfer Medical Technology (Foshan) Co., Ltd., shared success stories of private Chinese enterprises expanding internationally and the experience of German startups entering the Chinese market. Their insightful practical experiences highlighted successful cases of Sino-German business landscape in Foshan, providing valuable references and ideas for the participating enterprises.
Representatives from companies such as LUQOM Supply Chain Management (Foshan) Co., Ltd., Guangdong HSG Technologies Co., Ltd., and HANS Robotics Co., Ltd. also shared their own stories of Sino-Germancooperation during the event, further emphasizing the practical benefits of engaging in Foshan's dynamic industrial ecosystem.
By organizing series of events, the Foshanhas not only deepened mutual understanding and friendship between Chinese and German enterprises but also witnessed the strong cooperation potential and development space between China and Germany.
