New airport terminal launched in Lecong, Shunde

After full preparation, the new Guangzhou Baiyun International Airport Lecong (Macalline) terminal building officially opened on 10th February. From then on, customers can arrive at the airport from the terminal by coach within an hour.

 

The Lecong (Macalline) terminal building is located inside the Lecong Macalline Furniture Trade Centre. With tickets, check-in and other supporting functions, customers can check in here in advance. At present, there are 6 coaches everyday, the first at 6:50am and the last at 5:30pm. More coaches will be added according to customers’ needs in the future.

 

 

The terminal building is equipped very well and the environment of it is comfortable for customers. Meanwhile, for regular epidemic prevention and control, the terminal will do implement the epidemic prevention work, strictly following the epidemic prevention requirements.

 

"We have interviewed various shop keepers and residents, knowing that everyone wants a terminal building here to make their travelling more convenient." said Pan Lixia, responsible person of the terminal. After its opening, residents can enjoy the convenient travel service in their own city. At the same time, those who come to Lecong for buying or travelling can also take the coach from the airport to the terminal.

 

Chen Hui, responsible person of Yishu Furniture Brands, felt so exciting about the opening of the terminal. “In the past, without a terminal, we need to go to the airport to meet our foreign customers or see them off. But now, we only need to tell them how to take the coach. How convenient!”

 

Lecong is a famous furniture trade center in China, while Macalline is a rare furniture mall in China where top furniture manufacturing enterprises gather. Aviation services is an important part of modern comprehensive transportation system and an essential engine to boost local economy. After the terminal opens, it may further attract more passengers and promote the development of Macalline and even Lecong furniture trade economy.
