The 25th National Exhibition of Inventions - Belt & Road and BRICS Skills Development & Technology Innovation Competition - will be held at Tanzhou International Convention and Exhibition Center in Foshan from December 10 to 12.

The National Exhibition of Inventions this year will stage some of the latest tech-based items from strategic emerging industries such as digital economy, health, energy conservation and environmental protection, high-end intelligent manufacturing, biotechnology, new materials, new energy, new generation of information technology, etc.

Among them, the Sci-tech Achievements Exhibition Zone of Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area (GBA) will feature the most distinctive science and technology enterprises and innovative achievements of each city in the GBA, which can further promote the collaborative innovation and industrial cooperation development among the Greater Bay Area, and empower the high-quality development of Guangdong economy.  

According to statistics, 2,300 inventions will be displayed in the exhibition, covering an area of more than 40,000 square meters. Seven exhibition areas and three special zones will be set. Seven exhibition areas include national defense intellectual property area, energy conservation and environmental protection area, national worker innovation achievements exhibition area, youth innovation exhibition area, health and intangible cultural heritages exhibition area, GBA exhibition area, and comprehensive exhibition area. Three special zones include national high-tech innovation achievements zone, universities innovation achievements zone, and Belt & Road and BRICS Skills Development & Technology Innovation Competition Zone.  

The Belt & Road and BRICS Skills Development & Technology Innovation Competition has been held since 2017, and Foshan has been the host city twice since 2019. The Competition will take "Future Skills to Create the Future" as the vision, based on the future technology skills, and set 10 contests, including the assembling and programming of unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) and, new carbon neutral energy control technology and application, artificial intelligence - collaborative robot technology and application, artificial intelligent robot application technology, new-energy automobile innovation, machine learning and big data, data analysis and visualization using, and mobile application development.   

Note: The opening ceremony on the morning of December 10 will be only open to the professional audience; the exhibition will be open to the audience from the afternoon of December 10 to 12. Audience should enter with ID card and 48-hour negative nucleic acid report.
