On December 8, construction for Foshan Metro Line 2 (Phase 1) was wrapped up on an acceptance conference, where the Committee concluded the project has meet the requirements in construction prgress, trial operation, docmented technical files and project management.

On December 7th,  a notice was announced on the ticket prices and routes of Foshan Metro Line 2 (Phase 1).

Foshan Metro Line 2, as a major infrastructure project this year in Foshan, was built as one of the 18 metro lines connecting Foshan and Guangzhou.

It starts from Nanzhuang in Chancheng District, runs through Nanhai, Shunde and Panyu District and ends at Guangzhou South Railway Station. With an overall length of 32.4 kilometers, the metro line was designed with 17 stations.
