What do flowers taste like? On March 7th, Shunde, Chencun Town has announced a customized logo for Chencun Flowers Feast and listed out 12 local iconic dishes. As the slogan goes - take the metro, visit flower town and try out flower dishes - Chencun now has polished up its trump card for a booming industry - flower tourism.
To improve the taste of these 12 dishes, chefs and gourmets were invited to offer consultations on culinary skills and techniques, including the selection of ingredients, cooking techniques, seasoning, presentation, the ideal temperature and so on.
"These dishes are unique as of materials, culinary techniques, and the flavor. With a standard that we agree on, the cooking skills can be passed down for generations.", commented by Rangming Lin, a judge of Chencun flower feast, who is known as a tier-one judge in the national catering industry, China’s top ten chef, and Chinese cooking master.
With 6 metros and 12 stations planned for Chencun Town, the area will definitely attract more tourists from the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area.
