On April 10th, Shunde and Chancheng District were rewarded with 5 million bonus for their outstanding construction performance in Ten Thousand Miles Greenway. With this bonus, both districts planned to further improve the quality of the greenway. 

Improvement on citizens satisfaction 

Through the improvement in water environment and construction of Ten Thousand Miles Greenway, it has successfully brought peace and calm to citizens. Consequently, camping has become one casual entertainment apart from urban lives, which reflects the significant increase in living standards and citizens’ satisfaction.  

Referring to the greenway construction in Chancheng, it prioritises the connection with city reformation. From 2020 to 2021, Chancheng has completed 29.42 kilometres construction and build ecological economic areas along.  

Shunde District emphasises the cultural characteristic in greenway construction. It has completed 33 kilometres construction in 2020 and 72.17 kilometres in 2021.  

Bonus simulation for better construction 

It is stated that Chancheng District will invest the bonus in some representative projects to encourage better construction, for instance, Nanzhuang town segment of Dongping River project.  

In terms of Shunde District, the bonus will be used in project reward, subsidy to operation, advertisement of greenway construction, staff training, etc.
