New progress has been made for Pepsico Guangdong Production Base on June 29 that the project has successfully passed the on-site review of the municipal expert group on June 24, and it obtained the food production license on June 27, which is expected to put into production in July, 2 months ahead of schedule.

Pepsi Food Guangdong Production Base is located in Foshan High-tech Industrial Park. With a total investment of 740 million yuan, the first phase of the project covers an area of about 53,333 square meters, with a planned investment of 500 million yuan.

The project plans to equip one potato chip production line and two canned potato chip production lines, as well as supporting finished products and raw material warehouses, production auxiliary facilities, etc. The production capacity is expected to reach 25,000 tons per year.
