Foshan offers housing welfare to back up jobseekers fresh off college
An apartment that is right next to subway station and located in the center of central business district with a complete set of living facilities, yet, only has a minimum cost of 8 yuan for a night? The Youth Hostel located at Nanhai District, Guicheng Street offers special living service for those college students who come to Foshan to look for a job or internship while it is also an important measure that ensures how Foshan Communist Youth League help college students to solve the employment problem.
In order to help college students who just graduated to solve housing problem, the Communist Youth League City Committee decided to build more youth hostels and conduct the “Living Coupon” policy that aims to provide housing welfare for college students.
Shunde Youth Hostel also provides promotion of talents policies, supportive policies for employment or business startups, integration problem and follow-up helping service. Youth hostel does not only build a warm starting point for youth talent but also highlight the care and love from Foshan.
Besides, the Committee and Municipal Human Resource and Social Security Bureau jointly published the 2022 Foshan college students employment promotion project that wants to combine socialization and marketization and further cooperate with public institutions, state-owned enterprise, private enterprise and government office to offer more positions for college graduates.
Moreover, the Committee designed the Wing Project that actively invites college students from Hong Kong, Macau and Taiwan to attend internship for the development of Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macau Greater Bay Area. In the last 6 months, government had offered one-to-one internship for college students from Hong Kong, Macau and Taiwan while also developed 219 positions that are based on the need for those college students to provide more opportunity for them to join in the big family of Foshan.
