On August 4, the main tower of Fulong (West River) Bridge (East Bank) was capped, which marks a major progress for the largest-span composite beam cable-stayed bridge in Foshan. Since then, the project has entered the stage of superstructure construction.

Fulong (West River) Bridge, which connects Fuwan in Gaoming with the north extension line of Yangxi Avenue, spans across Hecheng Sub-district in Gaoming and Baini Town in Sanhui. It has a total length of 5.81km, with 1 main bridge and 2 hub interchanges.

When completed, the distance between Fuwan, Gaoming and Nanzhuang, Chancheng will be shortened to 17 kilometers, which helps to further regional economic exchange.
