From January to June, Foshan has granted intellectual property rights to over 50 thousand products, including invention patents of 4404. Overall, there are 37584 invention patents and 163 well-known trademarks granted in Foshan. Regarding the number of companies, 181 companies are qualified as national demonstration company of intellectual property and 393 are selected to be provincial demonstration ones, which is the first place in Guangdong.

Foshan has made extensive efforts in protection of intellectual property rights. For instances, it has established one integrated center to solve dispute about intellectual property rights, which provides one convenient and lower cost solution to citizens. Additionally, it provides support to companies in applying loans with intellectual property rights. In the first 6 months, the relevant loan issued has reached 5 billion yuan, increased by 191% compared with last year figure.
