Lingnan Impression Garden opened an art space of Xu Hongfei, a well-known sculptor in China, on August 12.

 

The art space displays nearly 70 sculptures created by Xu, including "fight with COVID-19", "Beijing Winter Olympics" and other famous series. 

 

 

 

As the dean of the Guangzhou Sculpture Academy, Xu has developed a unique, bold and exaggerated style based on real life. "Chubby Women", one of his famous works have been displayed in France, Australia, Italy, Singapore, America many other countries, spreading sheer charm to the world.

 

 

"Art is a universal language of the world, and the chubby women series represents humor and happiness," Xu once said, "When people in different countries see these sculptures, they can feel happy without a translation."
