On August 31st, the biggest shield machine in Guangfo area, “Jihua Number One” departed. It is used in the construction of Jihua Road West Extension Line.

It is the giant shield machine with maximal diameter of 15.56 meters in Guangfo area. Regarding its specification, it has equipped 264 cutters with 7 types. 

Remarkably, to overcome multiple difficulties like strong water seep and complex geologic structures, the research team has installed 6 leading technologies including intelligent detection system and high-pressure sealing design. 

Additionally, there also stamped one picture of Magnolia flower and ripple, which symbolises the project will be completed as a close cooperation between companies in Foshan and Shanghai.
