Desheng Sports Center in Shunde ushered in new progress
New progress has been seen on Desheng Sports Center in Shunde. Currently, all the venues in Desheng Sports Center have been capped, and the project is expected to be put into use by July 2023.
Located on the north bank of Desheng River, Daliang Street, with a total investment of nearly 3 billion yuan, Shunde Sports Center covers a total construction area of about 167,000 square meters. It’s equipped with comprehensive gymnasium, training hall, swimming hall, etc.
The main hall of the comprehensive gymnasium is constructed according to the specifications of the Grade A gymnasium. After completion, it’s able to hold national and international sports competitions, large-scale concerts, e-sports competitions, etc. It will meet the growing demand of citizens for culture, sports, leisure and entertainment, which plays an important role in enhancing the charm of “one river and two banks” in Shunde.
As a regional key project built under the background of “Hong Kong and Macao City in Shunde”, Desheng Sports Center will become an important landmark in Shunde in the future.
