Good news comes that the Guangfo West Ring started construction on September 28. As a milestone in the overall integration of Guangzhou and Foshan, Guang-fo West Ring connects the central area of Guangzhou and Foshan, and further improve the intercity network of Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area.

 

As an important part of Guangfo Ring Line, Guangfo West Ring starts from Foshan West Railway Station, passes through Shishan Town and Lishui Town in Nanhai, Tanbu Town and Xiuquan Sub-district in Huadu District and Jianggao Town in Baiyun District, and ends at Guangzhou North Railway Station. 

 

With a total length of 47 kilometers, Guangfo West Ring has 7 stations including Shishan East Station, Dalan Station, Guanjiao South Station, Hegui Station, Tanbu Station, Huadu Gang Station and Shenshan Station. 

 

From the perspective of geographical position, Guangfo West Ring will tighten the connection between Guangzhou and Foshan, bring Guangzhou South Railway Station, Guangzhou Baiyun International Airport, Foshan West Railway Station and Guangzhou North area in a closer contact, and connect subway lines in Guangzhou and Foshan, which will further deepen the integration of Guangzhou and Foshan. The planned construction period of Guangfo West Ring is from September 2022 to September 2027.
