Due to the impact of multiple factors, China’s heating appliances are increasingly favored by European market.

In the first eight months of the year, the total export of the heating appliances from Guangzhou Customs exceeded 1.16 billion yuan ($0.16 billion), up 6.5 percent year-on-year. As one of the main production areas of heating appliances in China, Foshan exported heating appliances like electric heaters, space heaters to the EU worth of 94 million yuan ($13 million) from June to August, up 154.4 percent year-on-year.

Crowned as the Capital of China’s Home Appliances, Shunde exerts great effort to seize new opportunities and expand overseas markets at the Canton Fair.

With the soaring demand from the European market, the reasons why China’s heating appliances can heat the market reside in China’s strong productivity and sophisticated technology.

VANWARD, far in advance of developing, producing and selling heating appliances in China, holds more than 2,600 patents in energy saving technology, design, etc. “The capacity of heating products grows dramatically this year,” said Peng Hongfei, international marketing manager of VANWARD. Peng also said that their self-developed electric heaters with high energy-saving efficiency are able to meet the demand of Europe and their newly developed heating products attract France clients. So far, they have stepped up production so that they can export the new products overseas at the end of the year.

Midea Group is also accelerating their overseas layout of heat pump. A new production base is under construction in Italy by Midea Building Technology with a predicted capacity of 0.3 million per year. Data from Midea Group’s semi-annual report shows that the exports quota of heat pump has increased by 200 percent over the first half of the year, ranking the first in China’s heat pump industry.

To help enterprises explore overseas market and ensure the stable exports of heating appliances, Guangzhou Customs encourages enterprises to export products by the new “Bay Area One Port” mode, reducing the overall customs clearance cycle by three or four days. Additionally, Guangzhou Customs also played its role as a technical research base by providing information services like technical regulations and trade measures to help companies export safely and efficiently.
