Foreign trade in Shunde District increased 7.9 percent year-on-year to 2013.4 billion yuan in the first three quarters of 2022, accounting for 39.7 percent of the total foreign trade value of Foshan, customs statistics showed. Exports rose 7.8 percent year-on-year to 169.07 billion yuan, and imports increased 7.9 percent to 32.27 billion yuan.

The data showed that Shunde’s general trade increased 11.1 percent to 120.38 billion yuan, accounting for 59.8 percent of the total value. Processing trade decreased 3.7 percent to 48.08 billion yuan , accounting for 23.9 percent of the total value.

In terms of export commodities. Shunde’s exports of electromechanical products increased 2.7 percent to 114.6 billion yuan, accounting for 67.8% of the total value.

The data of first three quarters of imported goods shows that, Shunde District has imported imported 7.24 billion yuan in mechanical and electrical products , down 0.2%, accounting for 22.5% of the total value.
